It is so very hard to believe that Christmas Day is three weeks away! Will I be ready? I am not sure! It just seems to be a lot of work for me. When you own your own business you spend more time getting your customers ready for Christmas than you do for yourself.
Georgia (grand daughter) will be here tomorrow night, so we will be setting up our tree and hanging lights on the house if the rain stops.
The common Threads Quilt Guild Christmas Party is the Thursday evening and should be a fun time.
The temp outside has been warm enough to confuse a day lily to bloom a beautiful yellow.

FIRST BLOG!
I am finally back to blogging. After many attempts at accessing my previous blog I have decided to start anew. Back in April my email address change and I thought I had changed all of my address information, but apparently not. So here I am starting over. I would like to figure out how to copy my previous blog (kathleensquilts@blogspot.com) to my new blog. If anyone is interested in viewing my old blog it is still there, I just can't update it.
Today my sweetheart, Steve, is coming home from his family visit in Texas. On Friday his father, RL, who is to be 93 in November, was admitted to the hospital with some chest pains. The doctors are concerned that he might have pneomia. I felt sad that Steve was scheduled to come home before his Father was released. I am sure Steve is very worried about the situation. I will be heading to the Fresno airport by 10:30 this morning to fetch him home.
I am sitting out on the patio with a cup of coffee watching the humming birds fighting over their positions at the feeders. Jacquee, Dexter, and Maggio are with me. They have been waiting for their Dad (Steve) all week. They just know he be home a minute.
